Mike is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer of Consumer Portfolio Service, Inc., a 31-year-old, Publicly Trade Auto Finance Company. Mike’s role at CPS is to drive performance within the sales, credit, servicing, data analytics. technology, HR, and legal departments. He has recently led CPS to record origination volumes, the retirement of its legacy technology systems, the enhancement of its Fintech platforms and less exciting assignments, such as past regulatory examinations / investigations by the CFPB, FTC and DOJ. Mike enjoys surfing, golfing, training, writing and wine.
