Mark Edelman serves as Chair of McGlinchey Stafford’s national Consumer Financial Services Compliance practice and is resident in the firm’s Cleveland office. He represents clients in state and federal regulatory compliance for consumer documentation, CFPB supervision preparedness, and regulatory, examination, and enforcement matters; e-commerce; underwriting; acquisitions and divestitures; warehouse and other commercial financing; insurance; and structured finance.
A former Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Consumer Financial Services Personal Property Finance Subcommittee, Mark is ranked by Chambers USA. He was named a BTI “Client Service All-Star” in 2022 and was Cleveland Financial Services Regulation’s 2013 “Lawyer of the Year” by The Best Lawyers in America in 2013.
