Kevin Chartier

Vice President of Market Insights & Residual Value Management at Cox Automotive

As Vice President of Market Insights & Residual Value Management Kevin leads the team responsible for monitoring automotive market trends and delivering strategic insights to help clients manage their businesses effectively. Kevin and his team leverage comprehensive, proprietary data sets as well as industry information to create deep insights into the market trends that drive client performance. Chartier and his team engage clients in strategic discussions with respect to optimizing financial performance considering current and emerging market trends.

He has been with Cox Automotive for 6 years and in the Auto and Auto Finance business for over 35 years. Prior to joining Cox, Kevin spent 23 years with Nissan North America in various sales & marketing roles including Director, Remarketing where he was responsible for liquidating a quarter million pre-owned vehicles annually and for setting residual value management strategies for NMAC’s $23B lease portfolio. Kevin also spent 10 years with Remarketing Services of America where he led the development of analytic tools and systems used to mitigate lease residual value losses on behalf of major banking clients.

Chartier graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin with double majors in Finance & Investment Banking and Marketing. In addition, he has completed a series of advanced, executive management programs at the University of Chicago and the Consumer Bankers Association at the University of Virginia.
