Chris Kukla serves as a Senior Markets and Policy Fellow in the Office of Markets at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he is focused primarily on the auto lending market. Prior to joining the CFPB, he advised federal and state policymakers on financial services issues as Executive Vice President of the Center for Responsible Lending, as an aide in the U.S. House of Representatives, and as a consultant. Chris holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame Law School and Alma College.
