Chris Bishop is the Head of Change Management for Wells Fargo Auto. Wells Fargo Auto is a leading indirect auto lender offering consumers vehicle financing through a network of over 10,000 dealers nationwide. With a loan portfolio of over $48 billion, we serve more than 3 million consumers with their auto financing needs.
Chris and his teams are responsible for the ideation, planning, governance and execution of Auto’s portfolio of projects and business initiatives. This includes understanding, coordinating, and communicating changes and their impact to employees and external customers. They provide business technology and capabilities support to aid in the delivery of critical system and process changes. They also analyze complaint data to determine root cause analysis and identify trends and opportunities to recommend and drive change to improve the customer experience. Their focus is effective change implementation through project management, training strategies, and procedural documentation for employees. Additionally, his teams work externally to ensure that there is alignment between Auto’s strategic plan and the prioritization of investments and alignment of resources.
Chris started his career at Wells Fargo in 1992 and has held numerous leadership roles throughout the bank, including roles in Contact Centers, Human Resources, Underwriting, Strategic Planning and Consumer Banking before joining Auto in 2010. Prior to his current role, Chris led the Business Initiatives team within Auto Operations which is accountable for the implementation of large scale strategic and transformational efforts.
He received his degree from Penn State University.
