Charita Henderson is the Vice President of Leadership Development for Exeter Finance in Irving, Texas. In this role, she leads the tremendous team that creates and implements the company’s overall leadership development strategy — a framework where leaders learn about essential skills and competencies critical to Exeter’s success both now and in the future.
In addition to her current leadership development responsibilities, Charita also serves as co-chair of the company’s Diversity & Inclusion Initiative, launched in June 2020. In this role, she helped the Initiative set its original direction by conducting quantitative and qualitative employee research to understand the D&I needs, wants, and interests of Exeter’s workforce. In addition, she is providing guidance to the various Employee Network Groups while simultaneously outlining a D&I organizational learning strategy.
Prior to joining Exeter in 2017, Charita served 25 years at Citi in various roles. In her role as Vice President of Training and Development, she served as an adjunct facilitator for Leadership Diversity Training and was a founding member of several employee network groups. One of her career highlights is having received the President’s Volunteer Service Award in recognition and appreciation for her commitment to strengthen communities through volunteer service.BACK TO SPEAKER FACULTY
