Lenders’ dealer partners took a massive hit amid the coronavirus outbreak with shelter in place orders shuttering shops and forcing dealers to acclimate to different sales strategies. In some cases, dealers had to pivot to online sales and touchless vehicle delivery and in some states were even barred from doing that. With months of sales volume lost, lenders need to prop up their dealer partners to help reignite sales and the auto industry overall. Workshop participants will better understand these market dynamics, as well as work up strategies for better serving dealer-clients.
